Benazir Nashonuma Program 2025: Health and Aid for Mothers and Children

The Benazir Nashonuma Program 2025, launched by the Government of Pakistan, provides health and financial aid to pregnant and breastfeeding mothers and their young children to combat malnutrition, offering Rs. 2,000 for pregnant women, Rs. 2,500 per child, and Rs. 3,000 for twin children.
Why It’s Needed
Many children in Pakistan (about 40%) suffer from malnutrition, making them weak or small for their age. This program helps by:

How Does It Work?
- Money Support: Mothers get Rs. 2,500 per month for a girl child and Rs. 2,500 for a boy child until the child is two years old. Pregnant women also get Rs. 2,000 per check-up.
- Health Services: Free monthly check-ups at Nashonuma Centers for mothers and babies.
- Food Packs: Special food packets are given for 90 days to improve nutrition.
- Centers: Over 500 centers in 158 districts, including Punjab, make it easy to access help.
Who Can Join?
To qualify, women must:
- Be pregnant or breastfeeding with a child under two years old.
- Be registered with BISP (Benazir Income Support Program).
- Have a valid CNIC and their child’s B-Form.
- Live in Pakistan, especially in poor areas.
