CM Punjab Dhee Rani Program – Get Dowry Package and Net Salami Amount, Check How to Apply & Details

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif launched the Dhee Rani Program in January 2025 to help poor and deserving families in Punjab who cannot afford wedding expenses for their daughters. This program supports group (mass) weddings and offers valuable items and cash to the brides.

Purpose of the Program

The main aim of the Dhee Rani Program is to ease the financial pressure of weddings on low-income families. Through this initiative, the Punjab Government organizes collective marriage events where multiple couples are married at once, with full support from the government.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the Dhee Rani Program:

  • The bride must be single (unmarried).
  • Her age should be between 18 and 40 years.
  • She must have a Punjab domicile (proof of residence).
  • Preference is given to orphans, needy individuals, disabled girls, or daughters of disabled parents.
  • Applications can be submitted by the bride herself, her parents, or guardians.
  • An affidavit is required confirming that the girl is unmarried and agrees to participate in a group wedding.

What Is Given Under the Program?

Each selected bride receives a complete dowry package and cash:

Dowry Package – Worth Rs. 206,000

  • Holy Quran
  • Prayer mat
  • Wooden double bed with mattress
  • Mirror
  • Dinner set and other basic home items

Cash Gift (Salami)

  • Rs. 100,000 cash
  • Given through an ATM card

Wedding Ceremony

  • A complete group wedding event is arranged by the government.
  • Up to 20 guests per couple are allowed and provided meals by the organizers.

You can register in the following ways:

1. Online Application

  • Go to the official site: cmp.punjab.gov.pk
  • Fill out your details like name, CNIC, district, tehsil, mobile number, and email.

2. Visit Office

  • Submit your application at the Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal office near you.

3. Call for Help

  • Dial Helpline 1312 for assistance with the registration process.

After registration, officials visit homes for verification of the provided information.
