IT Minister, Shaza Fatima Conform Starlink Internet Launch Date in Pakistan

IT Minister, Shaza Fatima, said Starlink is ready to work in Pakistan & has already received temporary permission (NOC). The minister said Starlink is setting up now and may start in November or December 2025.
Government Says Starlink is Almost Ready
- The IT Minister, Shaza Fatima, said that Starlink has already received temporary permission (NOC) to work in Pakistan. The full license is not given yet, but the process is almost done.
- She also said that Starlink is now building its system and installing equipment in the country.
No Big Issues with License
- The Minister explained that giving Starlink a full license is not a big problem. But since satellite internet is a new technology for Pakistan, the government is being careful. They want to make proper rules first.
- A consultant has been hired to help the government make a good policy.

PTA Chairman, Major General (retd) Hafeez-ur-Rehman, said that Starlink has already received temporary permission. But they can only get a full license after the new rules are final.
Internet Service May Start Soon
The meeting ended with hope that Starlink will start its internet service soon. People in Pakistan may be able to use Starlink by the end of 2025.
