Originally set lower, prices were later adjusted following negotiations with naanbai associations.

The local administration has begun monitoring tandoors to ensure adherence to the new rates.
Flour Price Reductions (Nationwide)
These changes come after the reduction in flour prices for both wholesale and retail.

However, market reports indicate some areas still selling fine flour between Rs90–100/kg and chakki flour between Rs110–115/kg.
